Job Summary

The Payroll Assistant processes weekly payroll for 800 hourly employees, ensuring exact calculations and adherence to labor regulations. Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Timesheet Auditing: Review and audit 800 weekly electronic timecards using Kronos Workforce Central to identify and resolve punch exceptions before payroll processing.
• Data Entry: Input 45 employee status changes, tax withholdings, and direct deposit updates into SAP Payroll weekly with zero margin for error.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve 15 to 20 payroll discrepancies or wage inquiries per week by referencing internal collective bargaining agreements.
• Report Generation: Generate 12 standard weekly compliance and labor cost reports using Microsoft Excel pivot tables for review by the finance director.
