Job Summary

As a Meat Department Associate, you will directly serve thousands of members weekly by providing precisely cut, weighed, and packaged meat products. Your daily efforts ensure that display cases remain fully stocked with high-grade proteins to meet member demand. Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Meat Preparation and Cutting: Utilize vertical band saws and Hobart meat grinders to process an average of 1,200 pounds of beef, pork, and poultry per shift according to strict institutional yields.
• Packaging and Labeling: Operate automatic wrapper machines and Toledo scale systems to weigh, wrap, and print accurate price labels for 400 or more meat packages per hour.
• Sanitation and Safety Compliance: Sanitize all cutting tables, band saws, and floor drains using quaternary ammonium sanitizers every four hours in compliance with USDA regulations.
• Display Case Maintenance: Rotate stock using First-In, First-Out inventory methods across 12 refrigerated display cases to maintain product freshness and minimize shrink below 1.5 percent.
